Sharing Our Loss

Dear Family,

It is with profound sadness that we are sharing the news of the tragic death of Mackenzie Mann, daughter of Mrs. Mann.  We believe that it is important that you know the deep loss our school community is experiencing.  Our flag has been lowered in memory of Mackenzie.

Mackenzie attended Ray Lewis School and is fondly remembered by many current staff and former students.  Mackenzie represented Ray Lewis School on a variety of sports teams and clubs as well as serving as Student Council president.  She was an energetic and out-going presence in the halls of our school.  Outside of school, Mackenzie loved dance, fashion, spending time with family and friends and was a lover of animals, big and small.  Her bright light will be missed by all who knew her and she will forever be remembered as a Ray Lewis Legend.

Our deepest condolences go out to Mrs. Mann and her family during this difficult time.  Mrs. Mann will be off work until further notice.  We ask that you respect the family’s privacy and direct any inquiries in regards to Mrs. Mann or her class to Mr. Moore.

We all share in the grief and sadness of having lost a member of the Ray Lewis Community.
