Practice Fire Drill

The term “Fire Drill” is used when there is a situation where it is necessary to remove all occupants within the building to protect them (e.g. fire alarm going off).  All people must leave the building.  As part of our School Protocol, the staff and students practice these drills throughout the school year. Prior to each drill, teachers will have age appropriate discussions regarding the drill and their expectations. To ensure that there is no confusion, these rehearsals are clearly identified as drills via an announcement.  We have planned a Fire Drill for Thursday, October 6th, 2022.

Please contact the school if you have any further questions regarding the Fire Drill School Protocol procedures at R.A. Riddell.
