Ambulance visit

Dear families,

This letter is to let you know that a student experienced a medical emergency at school today.

Staff called 911 and first responders arrived at the school. An ambulance took the student, in stable condition, to the hospital. A family member met them at the hospital.

Your child may have witnessed this emergency. We want to make you aware of this incident in case your child mentions it to you, or if you wish to have a family conversation about it.

We want you to know that student health and safety is of the utmost importance at our school.

We thank Hamilton Paramedic Services for their efforts. We also thank the staff for their leadership and students for their cooperation.

Please see the resource Tips for adults supporting children and youth after distressing events. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Sincerely,

Doug Trimble
Principal
