Hello Riddell Families,
As with so many other things in our world right now the Terry Fox run will be done a little differently this year. Many things have stopped or changed unfortunately people are still getting sick with Cancer, so it is important that we continue to support this amazing foundation. We are deeming October Terry Fox Month. Throughout the month each class can run/walk our Terry Fox route as many times as possible. Our goal is to log the same amount of KM’s Terry did, 5373KM.
Teachers will always make sure the students are social distancing and they are walking/running with their cohort.
We are collecting donations through the Terry Fox Foundation website. We would like to encourage all students to donate at least a Toonie, also to encourage them to seek others (safely) to donate to this amazing foundation. This is our 11th year of supporting the Terry Fox Foundation. We have raised, as a school, over $40 000, let’s keep this great tradition alive through this challenging time.
