Happy New Year Patriot Families!

As you are aware, The Ministry of Education has announced that secondary schools in southern Ontario will not return to in-person learning on January 4. Schools will remain closed for three weeks; we will share more information about the return to face-to-face learning when it is available. During this closure period, students will participate in online learning.

Our students in our special education classes will have face-to-face learning available starting on January 4th and transportation will continue.

For our students in regular classes, you will no longer be in “cohort A or B”. You will have class daily each morning with your teacher online. Therefore, all students are expected to log in to the HUB and/or MS Teams each day to connect with your teacher to find out about the learning plan for that day. You can expect a mix of synchronous learning (all together online) and asynchronous (independent) learning in your classes. The daily schedule remains the same (the length of the periods and the order of your classes). More information is to follow about the traditional exam period. There will not be exams this year.

The administration and office staff will be in the building daily starting on January 4th. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
