Important Information for Norwood Park Volunteers

Thank you very much to our all of our Norwood Park volunteers. We greatly appreciate the time and energy you invest in our students and school community.

As always, the safety and well-being of our students is our first priority. One step that we are taking at Norwood Park is to update our Volunteer Protocol.

Volunteers are required to complete an Offense Declaration each year. Vulnerable Sector Screenings are to be updated every 3 years. If you have an up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the last 3 years) on file at Norwood Park, you do not need to complete a new screening.

This year, we are asking that current volunteers and new volunteers update their Volunteer Information Sheet and attend one of our Volunteer Training Sessions.

There will be Volunteer Training Sessions available on the following dates:

• October 16, 2018        5:30- 6:00 pm
• October 24, 2018        3:30- 4:00 pm

The duration of this session is approximately 20 minutes and you only need to attend one of these sessions.
