Reminder for Year End Procedures – Mon June 28 and Tues June 29

Message to Families for End of Year Procedures – June 28th & June 29th

Dear Mount Hope Families,

On Monday, June 28th and Tuesday, June 29th, FDK – Gr. 8 students will have the opportunity to pick up any personal items (i.e. school photo, materials) and drop off loaned devices (iPad, cable & cube) and learning resources (library books, school textbooks). Families can come to the school to drop off resources and devices and/or to pick up personal items according to the schedule below. All borrowed iPads must be returned at this time.

Returning Loaned iPads:

  • Please ensure your child’s loaned iPad, cable & cube are placed in a bag
  • Parents are to label the device with the student’s first & last name prior to dropping off the device at the main welcome station outside the school main doors of the school.

Surnames A-M Monday, June 28th (anytime between 11:50 am- 2:50 pm)

Surnames N-Z Tuesday, June 29th (anytime between 8:30 am- 11:45 am)

Families are reminded that social distancing and masking protocols will be in effect. Upon arrival students will need to indicate that they pass the HWDSB student screener. All personal items have been packaged for students. Students will need to go directly to their classroom to collect their package that will be located on their desk and are asked not to linger or congregate with others. A lost and found will not be out on display for parents/students at this time.  If a student requires assistance in gathering their items due to age or exceptional needs, one parent or older sibling may enter the building with them upon passing the screener.

Students will have the opportunity to engage in asynchronous learning provided by their classroom teachers on both of these dates. Attendance will be taken for each class.

Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

The Mount Hope School Team
