Thank you from School Council
Thank you to all the families who attended last night’s Kick off to Summer Break picnic. The back fields of MJ were hoppin’ and it was wonderful to see so many families and feel a little bit of that MJ school community after so many years of challenges.
A big thank you also to the parents who volunteered their time organizing the event, handing out food and cleaning up afterwards – we couldn’t have done this without you. A special thank you to Dr. Roy’s Woodworking + Renovations for their donation of popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy – it was definitely a hit!
Last but not least, thank you to Sandra Constable, Jodie Osmond and Ivo for their ongoing support of School Council events.
On behalf of the School Council, I wish everyone a happy, safe and relaxing summer break. The council looks forward to meeting again in September and welcomes any parents who would like to be involved.
