HWDSB welcomes and encourages two-way communication through social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. We value your ideas and opinions, and want to hear from our community.

Corporate Communications staff monitor accounts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. We do not use our social media accounts for emergency purposes. If you are a student in crisis, please call 911 or visit www.kidshelpphone.ca .

We expect social media participation to be respectful, in alignment with our Equity and Inclusive Education protocol. We are committed to equity and inclusion, in accordance with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Education Act and Ministry of Education PPM 119 areas of focus:

  • Anti-racism and ethnocultural equity
