Valentine’s Day – Educators will be connecting with families regarding how February 14th might be recognized in their classrooms.  The distribution of traditional Valentine’s Day cards will be allowed.  For ease of distribution, families are encouraged not to individualize the cards (i.e. “To My Friend” or “From Student Name”). Food sharing is restricted at this time so please follow your child’s teacher’s guidance around treats.

PCR and RAT Test – The school has been provided with additional RAT and PCR tests to support staff and students.  These tests will be offered to all staff and students who are sent home during the school day due to COVID-related symptoms.  Additionally, we can provide tests for those who request a new kit due to the use of their previously provided tests (e.g. student or staff member who has been off with COVID-related symptoms and therefore would have used the tests that had originally been provided).

Returning from Temporary or Short Term Remote Learning – Families that have chosen to delay their return to in-person learning can return to Mary Hopkins at any time.  There is no paperwork to complete, however, it is best to connect with your child’s teacher so that your child is expected upon their return.
