Spirit Wear – Spirit wear has arrived at the school and will be distributed this week.  We have all items including those marked for in store pick up. Items will be sent home with the students.  If this is a gift and you do not want your item to be sent with your child, email [email protected] to arrange an alternate pick up.

Kindergarten Registration – If you have a child turning 4 this year, they are eligible to begin Kindergarten in September.  Kindergarten registration begins each year in February.  Keep posted for details as they will be communicated over the week.

Self Reporting of Positive Cases – To support ongoing monitoring and transparency at the school level, HWDSB is committed to making affected classes and cohorts aware of positive COVID-19 test results reported to the school. Parents/guardians should notify the school if their child tests positive for COVID-19 on either a PCR test or a Rapid Antigen Test.

How the Updated Case Reporting Process Works:
– Staff members or families inform the school that they have received a positive COVID-19 result from a PCR Test or RAT.
– Affected classes and cohorts will be identified through the school website. As always, individual students or staff will not be identified and personal information will not be shared.
– No posts will appear if there are no positive tests reported.
– To be directly notified of new postings, it is important to subscribe to the school website.  The subscribe link can be found on the main page.
– This communication will be shared with families to help inform their decision-making when sending their child/ren to school.
– While individual classes will continue to be provided with COVID-19 case information, the Board COVID-19 Dashboard page will no longer be updated. Rather, this page will be repurposed to track school closure information.
