YWCA – Women of Distinction Awards

Please see the attached for a volunteer opportunity with the YWCA.  On Thursday, March 7, 2019, YWCA Hamilton will be hosting the 43rd annual Women of Distinction Awards — The Power of Women. YWCA Hamilton’s Women of Distinction Awards honours and celebrates trailblazing women who have excelled in their fields, and salutes outstanding workplaces whose policies and practices promote women’s leadership and equal advancement opportunities. YWCA Hamilton provides essential and meaningful services that promote safe, inclusive, and equitable communities. The YWCA’s mission is to strengthen the voices of women and girls.

They are recruiting volunteers to support this amazing event. The event is taking place at the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s. All volunteers must attend an orientation at 3:00 pm. Volunteers will enjoy the event’s sit-down dinner service.  We have two shift times :

• 3:00 pm  – 7:30 pm
• 3:00 pm  – 9:00 pm
