Study and Go Abroad

The Study and Go Abroad Fair is coming back to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Sunday, March 1st. This free expo is a great opportunity for students to start planning their next step in education, or to learn more about experiential travel, including volunteer opportunities in Canada and abroad.

At the expo, students will be able to meet face-to-face with universities from around the world, and learn about admission requirements, scholarships and program choices for undergraduate-level programs.

The expo is from 1-5:00 pm, but the Feature Info Session on Scholarships starts at 12 noon. Info Sessions are held throughout the expo – see schedule below:

1 pm   –
 Studying Law in the UK – Your Route Into the Profession
2 pm   – Choosing a University in the UK
3 pm   – The Benefits of Educational Travel and Experiential Learning
4 pm   – Do You Want to Study Medicine? Attend Avalon University on the Beautiful Island of Curaçao!

Important University Information


Universities & programs using eINFO at www.electronicinfo.ca

January:  Deadline for Ontario secondary school students to submit completed applications to the OUAC. However, the earlier you apply, the better; applications can still be modified after submission.

February:   Recommended last day for students to submit all information to the OUAC, including university & program changes as well as additional active choices, to be eligible for consideration for early admission. Changes will continue to be accepted & processed by the OUAC after this date.

May:  The latest date by which all secondary school applicants can expect a response to an offer of admission from an Ontario secondary school student.

May:   The earliest date by which Ontario universities may require a response from an Ontario secondary school student.

Early June – August:  The Admission Information Service is available at the OUAC for applicants not admitted by June.
