Summer Dual Credit Opportunities for Indigenous Students

REGISTRATION FOR PATHFINDER 2021 NOW OPEN!

Pathfinder is a summer program for Indigenous students with a focus on Indigenous culture, identity and leadership skills, in addition to pathways into post-secondary.

Due to the on-going COVID-19 restrictions, we’re unable to physically host our annual summer experience on-campus. Instead, we will be offering a virtual opportunity for youth aged 16 – 21 to participate in an introduction to post-secondary education with online workshops and teachings centered around Indigenous culture.

Session Information:

Session Dates: Thursday August 5 – Wednesday August 25, 2021

Students will have the opportunity to participate in Pathfinder 2021 this year through on-line Zoom Conferencing and Microsoft Teams.

Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit – FMNI) students who would like to register for this program, must be associated with a high school – students must not have graduated high school yet.

Students who attended Previous Pathfinder are eligible to attend the Pathfinder 2021 program, as long as they meet current requirements.

Session is limited to 15 participants. Students who apply for the program will be notified if they have been accepted to participate in the program. Submitting registration forms does not guarantee a spot in the program.

Content of the program will be in an introduction to post-secondary education with on-line workshops and teachings centered around Indigenous culture. Participants will have the opportunity to earn a Dual Credit in Indigenous Wholistic Practices.
