2021-2022 Academic Year Updates

For students returning to in-person learning, the attestation form must be completed and handed in to remain in classes. This form can be done through Parent Portal, or a signed hard copy brought to the office, or submitted via email to sirallanmacnab@hwdsb.on.ca

Students that do not have the form completed by Monday September 13 will not be admitted to class until it is received. A fillable copy of the attestation form is available using the link below:

Timetables will be sent via email (to student HWDSB emails as well as active Parent/Guardian emails) on Wednesday, August 25th.  Please note that the link to your timetable in the email expires after 7 days.  There is an option to download and save a copy so please be sure to do so.

Timetable changes for the 2021-2022 school year will follow a similar process as last year.  Students are to use the form listed below to request a timetable change.  Mandatory timetable changes (e.g. SEEGUID code, course missing etc.) will be prioritized by counselors.  Counselors will be contacting students the week of August 30th-September 3rd.   Counselors will be contacting students with the phone number provided on the form.

Elective timetable changes will begin once the mandatory timetable changes have been completed.  Timetable changes will continue until Friday, September 17th.  Once classes begin, students will be contacted for a timetable change appointment through MS Teams.
Please note that the counselor alpha will change for quad 1 as Mr. Francis will not be available.  Our new alpha is Ms. Farrugia A-J, Mr. Dick K-R and Mr. Cowan S-Z.  Students will not be able to book their own appointments with counsellors until Monday, September 20th.   Please contact your guidance counselor by email if you have any questions or concerns.

Bell times – 2021-2022

Transportation letters were available for pick up in the main office from August 31 – September 7.  Remaining bus passes have been distributed to first period teachers.

To be eligible for a bus pass, students must live farther than a 3.2 km walking distance from the school but reside within our catchment area. If you are unsure if you are eligible for transportation, please contact the main office.
