Schools Closed from March 14 to April 5

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board supports the Ministerial Order as an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we engage the direction to close schools from March 14 to April 5. 

The following direction from the Ministry of Education and Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board applies as of Saturday, March 14, 2020 to Sunday, April 5, 2020: 

• All elementary and secondary schools, Education Centre, childcare centres in schools, EarlyON Child and Family Centres and all other off-site locations connected with HWDSB are closed. 
• All March Break camps, Community Use/Rentals, and Before- and After-School programs are cancelled. 
• Excursions, Board Meetings, committees, co-op placements, School Council and Home & School Association meetings, mental health treatment programs, school events, and athletics, including OFSSA, are cancelled.
