New partnership on volunteer opportunities

Achieving 40 hours of volunteer community involvement is a requirement for high school graduation. To help students find these opportunities, HWDSB has recently formed a partnership with Gigit Marketplace.

Students can find volunteer opportunities and keep track of their hours in Gigit. Please see the links below, visit the HWDSB Community Involvement Hours web page or speak with Student Services for more information on how to get started in Gigit and how to protect personal information while using the service.

Use of Gigit is optional; please have a conversation with your child about whether or not this service is right for them.

Access the start up guide, Getting Started with Volunteering and use the Safety Features and Guidelines to begin the sign up process.
