Cree Bell signs with University of Montana.

Cree Bell is off and running to the University of Montana

Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School is happy to announce that Track athlete Cree Bell has signed a full athletic scholarship to the University of Montana in Missoula, MO. Curtis Bell, Cree’s father explains that the decision to sign with Montana was easy once they saw the entire package that Montana had to offer. The coach, Paul Reneau, a participant in the 1984 Olympics was a huge part of the decision. His knowledge of the sport, his patience and the care that he put into his athletes was evident in all of the meetings. Cree was also impressed with the athletics facility, the stunning campus in the hills of Montana, and the rich Indigenous culture and history.

Cree has been an outstanding student athlete here at Sir Allan MacNab, academically she has earned an average over 95% in all of her grade 12 classes.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Cree for the past four seasons, she’s a remarkable athletic talent that has the unique ability to balance athletics with solid academic performance”.

“She’s been a significant positive influence on our team and has been a valuable asset through her willingness to work with our younger athletes on technical skills and development”. Kevin Gonci (Sir Allan MacNab Track Coach)
