Janet Lee Update

It was wonderful to see students at Janet Lee today! We had some challenges with our busses and would like to thank our families for their patience. Please know that we have connected with the bus company and hope to have the busses operating successfully tomorrow. Families should continue to check the Hamilton Wentworth Student Transportation Services website for delays. Every day we take bus attendance so that the right students get on the right bus. In the beginning this will create a bit of a delay at the end of the day so thanks again for your patience and understanding.

Some families have chosen to keep their children home. Thank you for continuing to use the Safe Arrival app to report your child’s absence. Support for learning at home can be found at the Learn at Home website.

The Parent Portal is where families can complete the one-time Safe Return to School attestation for this year. Thank you to the families who have already completed this process. Please click Return-to-School-Attestation-2021-2022 to print, complete and send to school a copy of this form.

Thank you for continuing to complete the Daily Screener located in the Parent Portal to use with each of your children before sending them to school. If you prefer, your child’s agenda/ important bag has a calendar/form attached to it, where parents can initial that their child has passed the COVID Screener and is safe to come to school for that day.
