Hi All,

Notice of ETFO Walkout Friday, Jan. 31, 2020: All HWDSB elementary schools will be closed to students on Friday, January 31, 2020 as a result of a one-day walkout by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario. Parents/guardians are required to make alternate childcare arrangements.

Important Letter: Elementary Parent Letter – Strike Action

Pizza Days: Due to Labour Disruption, Wednesday Pizza Days will be cancelled beginning Wednesday February 5, 2020.  All pizza orders will continue for the month of January 2020.  Therefore, students will have to bring a lunch on Wednesday’s beginning Wednesday February 5, 2020 until further notice.

Milk Sales: Due to Labour Disruption, All milk sales will be cancelled beginning Monday February 3, 2020 until further notice.

School Council Meeting Cancelled: Thursday February 6 School Council Meeting has been cancelled for this month.

Parent Survey: Families, please take a moment to let HWDSB know what the board is doing well and what it can improve on this year’s Parent Voice Survey. https://bit.ly/36myeUG
As in the past, schools will be provided with their school data if 20 or more surveys are submitted. Thank you for supporting this important engagement.

Summer is fast approaching and we are once again connecting with you to share the details of the 2020 Grade 6 to 10 Summer Literacy and Math Programs.
We are looking forward to hosting Summer Literacy and Math programs at HWDSB Schools.
