I hope everyone enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving weekend! I wanted to send out a message with some key dates that are coming up this month.

1) Wednesday Oct. 19 is Picture day.

2) Thursday Oct 20 will be our first School Council Meeting in the Hillcrest Library at 5:30. If you are interested in attending, please let the office know. If you have already provided your name for School Council, I will be in touch with you later this week.

3) Monday October 24 is a PA Day – so no school for students

4) Thursday October 27 will be our Meet the Teacher event after school – more details will follow.

Also, a friendly reminder that the small parking lot on Melvin is for Hillcrest Staff only – please park on Melvin or a side street if you are walking your child to their line. And another reminder that all dogs must be kept on a leash – and if larger dogs could be kept to the perimeter of the playground help students who might be intimidated by the larger dogs.
