Greetings From Ms. Miscas!
This was sent out as a Messenger to all families this morning; however, I thought I’d post to our school site as well.
Hello Greensville Families!
My first week as principal is officially in the books! And what a week it’s been. I certainly didn’t anticipate 2 snow days, but hopefully like me, you took it as a welcome change of pace and made the best of the situation.
I’ve had a chance to visit all classrooms and chat with students – what an amazing group of young people! I was inspired by their energy and the kindness shown to me. I look forward to getting to know them better during the remainder of the school year. Staff have been welcoming and patient as I bumble along in a new environment. I have already witnessed the care they have for students and the professionalism with which they do their job. I’m so proud to make Greensville my home away from home and eagerly anticipate meeting families in the near future. While we are still working within the parameters of a pandemic, my hope is that we will still find meaningful ways to connect with one another. I will do my best to keep families and the community informed of school events and share news and information, readily. I try to be outside during morning entry so please say hello if you get the chance.
For those interested in knowing a little more about me, I have attached a brief introductory letter. I’m grateful for the pre-existing parent/caregiver partnerships in place and look forward to strengthening those over the coming months.
