Upcoming School Events September 2022

To help with your student’s planning, we would like to share some upcoming school calendar items:

• September 19^th – On Monday, at 1pm, schools across Hamilton Wentworth DSB will observe a moment of silence in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

• September 19 and 20^th– School pictures will be taken on Monday and Tuesday at Glendale.  Students will be called down to the gym by students’ last names to have their picture taken.  Ordering information will be sent home with the proofs at a later date.

• September 23^rd – Glendale is holding our Terry Fox Run at 2pm on our school grounds.  This year through our “toonie for Terry” drive our fundraising goal is $2000.

• September 30^th– National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day).  The day is an excellent opportunity for conversation and learning about Canada’s way forward to reconciliation and healing with the Indigenous people of Turtle Island.
