Our School

Glen Brae Middle School (grades 6, 7, and 8), established in 1967, is a dual track school with English and French Immersion programming.

The Glen Brae Middle School Mission statement is, “To ensure that students, staff and parents grow together in a learning environment which fosters self-esteem and encourages a positive attitude toward education in an atmosphere that is free from violence and prejudice.”

Our school motto is “Making the Best Better”. Together we’re better!

On April 19, 2006, Glen Brae Middle School received a “Profiling Excellence” award for exemplary program and achievement within the HWDSB for our A Road Race to Kenyan Relief initiative. Using seven years of volunteer affiliation with the Around the Bay Road Race, Glen Brae Middle School expanded its “Together We’re Better” philosophy to create and implement an “adopt a school” program. The program directly assists underprivileged school children in rural Kenya by providing them with some of the necessities of life.
