Congratulations graduates!

You have persevered through a challenging time as you have worked to finish your Grade 8 year at HWDSB. You have made it to graduation and are ready to move on to the next chapter in your education. Well done! Félicitations aux élèves!

While we can’t be together this year, please know I am celebrating your achievements. Thank you to your family, friends and staff who have helped you through your elementary journey.

As you go forward to high school, I wish you every success. Now, more than even, it is important to be kind to yourself and to those around you. I encourage you to support one another and to leave every place you’ve been a little better than you found it.
