Well we made it through the first month of 2015…and that means February is right around the corner. As a result, I am attaching a copy of the Earl Kitchener FEBRUARY Calendar along with a few more weekly reminders…

Earl Kitchener Safety Survey
Please be advised that the Earl Kitchener Safety Survey is being sent home today with the oldest and only student who attends Earl Kitchener. Feel free to complete the survey, one per family. The deadline is Friday, February 13th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Kindergarten Registration Begins Monday, February 2nd
Registration will begin this Monday, February 2nd at 9:30 a.m. for families with children entering either Kindergarten (born 2010 or 2011) or French Immersion Grade 1 (born 2009). For your convenience, please follow the link for the Student Registration Form at https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Student-Registration-Form.pdf (or see attached), so it may be printed and filled out before you come to the school. In addition to the completed registration form, the child’s birth certificate (or proof of birth), immunization information, and proof of address (hydro bill, etc.) will be needed to complete the process. Please share this information with your neighbours as well as families new to the Earl Kitchener community. **Please Note: students already attending Kindergarten at Earl Kitchener School do NOT need to re-register for next year; a form was sent home on Wednesday to let us know whether you would like your child in the French or English stream.**
Morning coffee will be hosted in the Library until 9:40 a.m.

Wear Yellow Day—Winter Walk will be held on Wednesday, February 4th. Let’s show Canada that Hamilton loves to walk! Please encourage your children, caregivers, and coworkers to walk to school if they can. Wear Yellow Day information and registration:
