Hallowe’en Events at Dundana

On Thursday, October 31, Dundana school will engage in some Hallowe’en festivities.

-Our Kindergarten classes will have a parade at approximately 9:15.  They will parade the main floor of the school.  Parents are welcome to watch the parade from the front hallway.  Kindergarten students are asked to bring a change of clothes to put on after their Hallowe’en activities are finished.

-The Grade 1 to 5 classes will have a parade after second nutrition break, beginning at approximately 1:40.  Students may choose to wear their costumes all day or can change after eating at second break.  If the weather is fair, parents are welcome to watch the parade from the back playground, or if weather is a problem, from the gym.

All students are reminded that they need to make safe and appropriate choices for costumes at school.  No weapons or masks will be allowed during the school parades.  Please also be careful of long or bulky costumes that could impede walking up and down the stairs.

Individual classroom teachers will communicate if there are any specific details regarding classroom festivities on this day as well.

For students who are unable to participate, we ask families to connect with the classroom teacher to make a suitable plan.
