Transportation Update

Please be aware that some bus routes may be experiencing delays in both morning and afternoon routes.  I encourage families to sign up for updates using the Parent’s Portal on the Transportation website.  Alternatively, you can check in any time for bus delays on the Transportation website directly at:  https://www.hamiltonschoolbus.ca/

A reminder that if your child is not on a Transportation bus list (you would have received a letter in August), we are not able to provide bus services at this time for your child.  If you believe you are eligible, please contact the transportation office or the school and we’ll try to help you navigate that.  If your address is less than 1.6 km (grade 1 to 5 students) or 1.0 km (Kindergarten students), you are not eligible for transportation.  In this case, you are welcome to apply for courtesy busing.  Available spots will be assigned to courtesy riders in late September/early October.  Alternative arrangements for your child will have to be made in the meantime.

For all students and families, we encourage parents and guardians to confirm dismissal arrangements with the child’s teacher via agenda or conversation to ensure everyone knows the dismissal plan.
