School Council Tuesday September 27 2022

Goodmorning!

We have a few updates to share with our Cootes Families regarding our upcoming School Council Meeting.

Our first school council meeting will take place on Tuesday September 27, 2022 at 5:30pm in the school gymnasium.  On this day, we will be holding a vote for election to the executive.  An overview of the council and the position responsibilities will be shared on Tuesday.  The executive will include the following:

• 1 Chair
• 1 Co-Chair
• 1 Secretary
• 1 Treasurer
• 5-6 Parent Members

All parents/guardians who have submitted nominations are eligible to be part of the vote for the position indicated and in addition votes from the floor will be taken.

Our first meeting this Tuesday will be held in person only, with subsequent meetings being held in a hybrid model (both in-person and online).
