Week One (Won)!!

To our Cootes families,

We want to begin by thanking you for the amazing support you continue to show for the safety of our school community. The students have adopted all the new protocols seamlessly, and we could not have done this without your support. As a staff we were humbled for the amazing act of kindness you showed towards us through your posters, emails and continuous encouraging words. As we move forward in our new reality, we ask for your continued patience and understanding throughout each day.  Please know that the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff has been, and will remain our number one priority.

As we begin a new week please be reminded of the following protocols:

-call in student absences in advance

-parent access is strictly limited and must be reported to the office before entry

-continue to use the walkways in the playground during drop offs and pick ups

-students must arrive as close to 9am as possible. Supervision begins at 8:45.

-no toys or gadgets should be brought to school. Please keep these items at home.

-for safety reasons, no invitations will be distributed by students or teachers at school

-access to the parking lot is closed

-please do not cross the yellow rope area as this is used for student cohorts
