It is that time of year when we form our school council. There are several positions on Chedoke School Council: Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Member-at-Large. Time commitment varies from monthly meetings of about an hour to an hour and a half in length to twice that amount of time as an executive member who may have additional duties to perform outside of the meeting.

The main purpose of Chedoke School Council is to advise the Principal on student achievement and the Principal provides updates on the school’s improvement plan at each meeting In the past, Chedoke School Council has taken on an active fundraising role, raising enough money to support graduation activities, trips, and even obtaining a grant for our outdoor learning area.
