Apply now for Summer School Online 2025!    

Application will be accepted during the following dates:

  • January 7 – 29, 2025
  • February 3 – 21, 2025
  • April 1  – June 27, 2025

Continuing Education is pleased to offer full credit courses through the Summer School Online program.  Online courses will be start July 2, 2025 and end July 25, 2025.

Course selection deadline for HWDSB STUDENTS is June 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m. 

Course selection deadline for students from OUTSIDE HWDSB* is June 25,2025, 4:00 p.m. (due to required guidance approvals).

*Students from outside HWDSB must also REGISTER AS A STUDENT with HWDSB by June 20, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT – Upgrade course options (limited Grade 12 college & university courses offered) and Credit Recovery (Grade 9 & 10 compulsory courses) will be available for registration starting April 2025.

Summer School Online Program

Dates:  July 2 – 25, 2025

Tutoring:  Real-time, live support for online courses will be available on MS Teams for one hour each day.  Teachers will notify their students of their “office hours”.

Finals: Final submission dates for all course work and quizzes will be July 14 for Civics courses, and July 25 for full credit courses and Careers.

How to Apply - HWDSB Students including Adults currently active in Continuing Education Credit Programs

Course selection in myBlueprint is open!

Course selection will be open the following dates:

  • January 7-29, 2025
  • February 3 – 21, 2025
  • April 1  – June 27, 2025

If you have any questions or concerns about your course selection, prerequisites or pathway, please contact your Guidance Counsellor.

Once your Course Selection Form has been submitted, you’ll receive a copy of your responses. Your Guidance Counsellor will review and validate your course selection.  If they have any concerns, they will update your course selection and contact you.

Deadline for application is June 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. 

How to Apply - NON-HWDSB Students

Secondary School Students from outside HWDSB will need to:

Step 1: REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT  Deadline: June 20, 2025, 4:00 p.m. with all required documents provided – NO EXCEPTIONS

If you previously completed Step 1: 

Step 2: Once registration is complete, you will receive an HWDSB Student Registration confirmation, along with your @hwdsb.on.ca email address and password.

Step 3: Go to myBlueprint for course selection.  Course selection will is currently open.

Course selection will be open the following dates:

    • January 7 – 29, 2025
    • February 3 – 21, 2025
    • April 1  – June 25, 2025

Course selection closes June 25, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to allow time for approval from your Guidance Counsellor.

NOTE: You must sign into myBlueprint using your …@hwdsb.on.ca account.

Step 4: Your Guidance Counsellor will be sent an email to approve your request by June 27, 2025, 4:00 p.m.

Deadline for registration is June 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. 

How to Register - Adult Students new to HWDSB

Adults not currently enrolled in an HWDSB Adult Credit Program should:

Step 1:  REGISTER AS AN HWDSB STUDENT  Deadline: June 20, 2025, 4:00 p.m. with all required documents provided – NO EXCEPTIONS

If you previously completed Step 1: 

Step 2:  Once registration is complete, you will receive an HWDSB Student Registration confirmation, along with your @hwdsb.on.ca email address and password.

Step 3:  Email a copy of your latest high school transcript to [email protected] (so we can guide you with course selection).

Step 3: Go to myBlueprint for course selection.  Course selection is currently open.

Course selection will be open the following dates:

    • January 7 – 29, 2025
    • February 3 – 21, 2025
    • April 1  – June 27, 2025

Course selection closes June 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to allow time for approval from your Guidance Counsellor.

Step 5: Our Guidance Counsellor will review your request against your transcript for pre-requisites by June 27, 2025, 4:00 p.m. and will contact you with any concerns.

Login Information Students register and access their course using their …@hwdsb.on.ca email address.
Username & Password Support If you need help with your existing username or a password reset, CLICK HERE for support. If you are new to HWDSB, please complete the Student Registration.
Technical Support Technical support for course start-up will be available on July 2, 3 & 4, 2025.

Course Support Real-time, live support for online courses will be available on MS Teams, Monday to Friday, for one hour each day, throughout the course.  Teachers will notify their students of their “office hours.”
Final Reports Final reports will be sent to students’ home schools.  Students and/or guardians will receive a digital report card via email by August 1.

 

Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel or relocate classes/programs.  Affected students will be contacted by email in the event that their course/program is cancelled.  Students are limited to choose ONE Summer Credit program each year.
