This preparation course is designed to develop skills and opportunities to explore training programs and new career pathways.  Participants will leave the program with all the resources needed to apply for Better Jobs Ontario funding, as well as skills needed to pursue new goals in further training, education, or employment.

Through this program you will:

  • Prepare for the Better Jobs Ontario application
  • Build a variety of transferrable skills

Program description

This free skills upgrading program helps participants to prepare for future training, education or work, with a blend of in-person and asynchronous learning.

  • Computer basics
  • Budgeting skills
  • Soft skills
  • and more!

Dates and Location

January 22 to February 8, 2024
March 4 to 21 , 2024
In person: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am – 2:30pm
Hill Park Learning Centre, 465 East 16th Street, Room 2028

Specific Instructions/Documents

Sessions are in English with a required minimum Canadian Language Benchmark Level 5 to participate.
