Return to Remote Learning at HWDSB – Week Four Highlights
The fourth week of this remote learning period was an eventful one! With Family Literacy Day taking place this past Wednesday and Bell Let’s Talk on the following day, we saw many educators incorporating these themes into their lessons. February 1 marked the beginnings of Black History Month and Psychology Month, so we look forward to seeing how these celebrations make their way into the classroom.
For now, here are ten highlights from week four of this remote learning period:
During our sharing time we talked about what makes you special. One s said he can count to 10 in Korean. We asked him to share. He counted with confidence. #inclusion #Diversity #Wellbeing @HWDSB

We read, “Perfect Square” by Michael Hall this afternoon. Afterwards, students were asked to cut up a square anyway they wished, and create something out of the pieces. Here is just one of their amazing creations. @HWDSB pic.twitter.com/plioosOo5r
