City of Hamilton – Adapted Virtual Programming

Hello!

The City of Hamilton is  excited to share some new Adapted Virtual Programming that will begin February 2021!

The City of Hamilton Recreation team will be hosting two (2)  Social Game Time (adapted) sessions using the ZOOM platform!  Designed specifically for participants with special needs, both evenings will include a fun 30 minutes of adapted games and activities together with peers!  Staff will be leading participants through different games and activities: examples may include Trivia, Would You Rather questions, 2 Truths and Lie quizzes and other fun games we can play together!

To attend the evening programs registration is required.  These 2 Social Game Times are FREE of charge, however registration is required.  Registration can be found at https://www.hamilton.ca/recreation/how-register

Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 5:30pm-6:00pm (Code# 00042010)

Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 5:30pm-6:00pm (Code# 00042011)

WHO:

Participants ages 13-30 with special needs

In the comfort of your home!

HOW:

ZOOM—once registered you will receive an email within 48-72 hours with the private code, and instructions for how to access the program.

Coming Soon! 

The City will be offering 3 different kit programs! Create your own Body Scrub, Create a Pinecone Birdfeeder and Make Hot Chocolate Bombs! Each Kit program includes the needed supplies and access to a pre-recorded video with step by step instructions for how to do each activity!  Registration will be required for the Kits!
