April 1st Update for Families

Remember to turn the page on your calendars- It’s April! A few items to highlight as we move into this month.

First, a reminder that Kindergarten Registrations are still open. We continue to register Kindergarten age students for the 2022-2023 school year. Registration forms along with Kindergarten Information is available on the HWDSB website: https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/kindergarten/

Families looking for media consent forms, signing students out early or reporting absences can find everything located on the Parent Portal. https://www.hwdsb.on.ca/parent/

Yearbook – preparations for the 2021-2022 School Yearbook are underway. Please note, that since this publication is produced through Home and School, a separate Media Consent is required for your child/ren to appear in the yearbook. Families have been notified if these consents have not yet been returned. The HWDSB Media Consent signed in the Parent Portal, is necessary for students to have online access, and to share their image and/or name using media.

We will have photo retakes and Graduation Photos on April 6th. Graduation will take place on June 21st. Further details will be shared once plans are confirmed.

As restrictions are being lifted some of our past practices are resuming. The Tuck Shop will once again be open beginning next week. We will have popcorn, cookies and milk available for purchase. All items will be $1. Our Kindergarten classes will be offering families an alternative to ordering and will be placing orders once a week for delivery on the Friday. Please look for this communication directly from Educators.
