March 11th Update for Families

Over the past two years there have been measures followed to help keep everyone safe with respect to reducing transmission of Covid. We have found that some of these routines and practices are helpful in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment generally. Given the recent announcements from the Province, lifting many of the enhanced safety measures, and our commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, we will be taking some time to assess which practices we should continue here at Balaclava School (e.g., having students assemble in classes and walking into the school with their educators in the morning).  We want to ensure our ‘new normal’ is best possible practice for all. Families can expect updates on these changes in the weeks following March Break. Thank you for your continued support and patience.
