April 6th Update

The change in weather these past few days has been a welcome distraction. Hopefully everyone is taking full advantage and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

A few reminders for families:

1. When returning to school from an absence, please be sure to complete the Attestation form located in the Parent Portal. If you have difficulty please contact our offices so we can assist, 905-659-3396.
2. Online registration for new registrations is available for K-8. Please visit http://registration.ca.powerschool.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=100000260&culture=en
3. The final opportunity to transition between remote and in person schooling will occur shortly. Requests to move to in person learning will be approved only if space is available. Families will be notified directly to confirm if there is space to accommodate an additional student the week of April 26th. The first day for new placements will be May 3rd.
4. While a number of families are opting not to use the buses and are instead dropping off/picking up children please remember to follow all safety protocols, wear a mask if you are able, and maintain a safe physical distance (2m). We ask that you avoid congregating in our parking lot and leave your dogs at home as they often become a magnet for others to visit and could pose a safety risk to others (not everyone is comfortable around dogs).

Thank you all for your ongoing support. At this point, we continue to operate an in person learning model at our school. Should this need to change for any reason families will be notified by the HWDSB.
