Update for Families – January 18th

Anyone who wishes to transition between Remote and In-Person School February 25th, is required to complete the  Elementary Transition Between Remote and In-Person (Optional Request Form). 

The form is available in the Parent Portal between, Monday, January 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Only complete this form if you would like to request a change in delivery model.

If we do not hear from you, your child/ren’s placement stays the same.

Parents and guardians who choose in-person to remote learning will immediately transition to remote learning if school resumes on February 11.

This Elementary Transition is:

• based on class space available as spaces at in-person schools are limited due to safety requirements for physical distancing and small class sizes
• based on your child/ren’s mode of learning, whether remote or in-person, prior to the Provincial Closure and Remote Learning Extension.

If the demand for in-person learning is greater than the number of available spaces at schools, additional staff might be added to meet the demand.
