Cheers to Volunteers

This week is National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Though we may not be together to recognize and thank all our volunteers we do want to express our great appreciation for all that you do at Balaclava. Your work makes things possible for our students that otherwise would not be possible. We could not do what we do without you.

The  current conditions created by the COVID-19 Pandemic are creating other opportunities for volunteerism. Consider using the graphic below provided by Volunteer Canada (or creating your own) to display in your home windows as a way to acknowledge and thank all those who are able to volunteer their services to assist others during this challenging time.

When we look after ourselves and we look after one another, we all stand to gain.
