Girls Hockey: Waterdown earns fifth straight HWIAC title

The Waterdown Warriors continued their reign as the top team in girls hockey earning a 3-0 win over the Ancaster Royals to collect their fifth straight HWIAC championship.   The Warriors finished league play with a perfect 4-0 record scoring 19 times with just two goals allowed in regular season play.  In the championship final, Waterdown shut down Ancaster to qualify for SOSSA.

The Warriors also qualified for provincial championship winning SOSSA, but were unable to attend due to Covid-19 and the cancellation of the OFSAA event.
