Principal Update Jan 17

Hello,

As mentioned in the last HWDSB labour update there are currently no extra-curricular activities occurring outside the regular school hours. Staff at Ancaster Meadow are continuing to run a variety of different activities during Nutrition Breaks; students are encouraged to listen to the announcements regarding activities that are running.

Term 2 Pizza goes live starting Fri Jan 10 and is open until Mon Jan 20. All orders must be placed through SchoolCash Online, no cash orders and no late orders can be accepted. Both the Pizza Monday and Lunchbox program our run by parent volunteers from the Ancaster Meadow Home & School Association. Thank you to all our volunteers who run these programs.  Term 2 pizza starts in February.

Guidance counsellors from Ancaster High School will be coming to talk to grade 8 students. Gr 8 Option Sheet night for students and parents Mon 20 Jan 6 – 7:30pm Ancaster High.

Friday Jan 24 is a scheduled PA Day and there is no school for students on that day.

The information about the labour situation can change on an ongoing basis, it is important for parents to stay aware of this information in the local media.
