Principal Update Oct 25

Hello,

This week we had a number of different class field trips and it was great to see so many parents volunteering on these trips. Throughout the year, Ancaster Meadow benefits immensely from the volunteer efforts of our parents; whether it is Monday pizza, special events, weekly reading, or field trips- thank you to our volunteers!

The formal Progress report goes home with students on Tues Oct 29. Parent Teacher interviews are the evening of Thurs Nov 7 and during the day on Fri Nov 8. Please contact teachers directly for interview availability.

Halloween is always a fun day at Ancaster Meadow. Halloween arrangements are grade and class specific please check class communication for details specific to your child. A reminder with all the snacks and treats this time of year that the school is Nut-Safe, please do not send Halloween treats that contain nuts to school.

I have included an attachment that has information to remind parents about the School Messenger program and the SchoolCash Online system. School Messenger is the system that all families need to use to record student absences. SchoolCash Online is our online payment system; all school trips need to be paid online. The office staff can assist any families needing help with either system.
