School Council Nominations

It is time to get our School Council up and running. This year all meetings will be held virtually to support social distancing. All AMC community members are welcome (caregivers of in-school and remote learners).

If you would like to run for a formal position, those include Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, the nomination form is attached here and must be submitted by October 9th at 4:00 pm.

All elected members of the school council shall:

~ attend Council meetings regularly.
~ participate actively in the work of the school council, chairing sub-committees as required.
~ maintain a school-wide perspective on school council issues and seek to achieve consensus in decisions.
~ act as link between the school council and the community.
~ encourage the participation of parents from all groups and of other people within the school community
