Confirmed Case of COVID-19 for Remote Learning at Systems Program

On September 27, 2021, Hamilton Public Health Services (HPHS) notified Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) of a positive COVID-19 test result at our school.

To protect the individual’s privacy, we do not disclose their name.

HPHS has consulted on this case and have assessed that there are no student or staff close contacts related to this case. The confirmed case is associated with the Remote Learning program and did not attend in-person.

Families are reminded to screen daily for COVID-19 symptoms using the provincial COVID-19 school and child care screening tool. Parents/guardians/caregivers, as well as students, should use this screening tool to help decide if you or your child/ren should or should not go to school/child care.
