3 Days of Skating! Grades 1-8

At Greenleaf, we look for opportunities for our students to have a variety of experiences.  Skating at Harry Howell Arena has been arranged for students in Grades 1 to 8 on January 25th, February 23rd, and March 29th.  Please see below for specific information for your child/children.

Grades 6, 7 and 8
They will depart the school at 9:30 and skate from 10:00 until 10:50.

Grades 3, 4 and 5
They will depart the school at 10:30 and skate from 11:00 until 11:50.

Grades 1 and 2
They will depart the school at 11:30 and skate from 12:00 until 12:50.

We will need help from parent volunteers who have completed the required Police Check to help supervise students and to assist with the tying of skates.  Bus space is limited so if you are able to volunteer, please arrange to meet us at the arena.

Along with their skates, students MUST wear mittens and a Certified Canadian Standards Association (CCSA) helmet.  Students without helmets and mitts will not be permitted to skate.  Skates should be brought to school in a cloth bag (not plastic) and all items should be labeled!

The cost of skating for all three dates will be $5.00 (in total), payable using CASH ONLINE no later than DECEMBER 21, 2017.  Consent forms are also due on DECEMBER 21, 2017.  Please contact the school if you are interested in volunteering and have your Police  check.

A very grateful thank you to our Parent Council who is paying for the cost of the transportation.

We look forward to this amazing opportunity!
