St. Peter’s Hospital Information

September 22, 2021

Dear Adelaide Hoodless Families,

I was contacted by St. Peter’s Hospital today regarding the gatherings that form on the front lawn of St. Peter’s Hospital regularly after school.  Families are reminded that St. Peter’s Hospital is private property and gathering to play is not permitted.  St. Peter’s hospital shared that the children are hanging off of the wall and throwing stones, which have hit the windows. They are concerned about the safety of the students as well as the well-being of their residents.

Staff from St. Peter’s have asked the families to please leave the property, however people still tend to gather on this grassy area.  St. Peter’s staff also shared that some of the adult individuals have been recording the interactions and posting on social media.  This is concerning as we very much value the relationships we have with our community partners and want to ensure everyone is respectful.  Please refrain from playing or gathering on St. Peter’s property.

Additionally, please be reminded that the creative playground is closed until 3:30 pm each school day.  Although Public Health Protocols now allow us to use play structures, they can only be used by one cohort at a time.  To ensure we keep our community safe we ask you to please not use the play structure between the hours of 8:30 and 3:30 pm.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Respectfully,

Nanci-Jane Simpson – Principal
