Earl Kitchener's Little Artists Art Show

A bit of background Here at Earl Kitchener school, our kindergarten class collectively did an art project inspired by a mini museum located in the Kirkendall Neighbourhood. When the museum was erected, the students shared stories of them seeing on their street, neighbourhood and on TV. In class, we looked up the CHCH video and photos on social media. The children then brainstormed ideas to create a mini MMOMA. The landed on painting a box, making a window and signage. The all pitched in the process and began to vigorously create art. The kindergarten students painted little canvases and made little sculptures to display and swap (similar to MMOMA_hamont. The gallery owner Matt Coleman was elated when he saw the childrens' creation and asked us to participate in an art show this month inside his wee museum. The kindergarten students are so excited to have their first art show. They will be able to walk over with their families and see their are alongside their classmates. Hopefully lifelong memories are made!!
