Picking Up Personal Belongings

Textsize
A+ A-

As you know, schools must remain closed for the rest of the school year due to COVID-19. We have worked with Hamilton Public Health Services so that students can retrieve personal items from our schools. Final access to collect personal belongings will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2020.

Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure all students can safely retrieve their belongings.

Please visit your school website (list of elementary school websites) and click on the “Booking Calendar” option in the menu at the top of the page to sign up for a 15-minute visit to the school. Parents/guardians will need to know their child’s homeroom class/teacher. Please ensure the Time Zone on your computer is set to Eastern Time (USA & Canada) before selecting your time. Access to the school is taking place on Thursday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any items remaining after this date will be donated or disposed of.

Elementary students can enter the building with one parent/guardian/caregiver to clean out their locker/cubby. To help families gather their belongings quickly, personal items in each student’s desk will be packed and left in a bag on their desk. If a parent has more than one child attending the school, they must book different times for each child.

Teaching and learning continues until June 26th so you should keep books, technology and other things you need at home.  Please bring:

  • any library books/materials that your child won’t need in June
