Good Morning Winona Families,

The attached document is the Staff List for Winona Elementary School for the 2018-2019 School Year.  As you will see, we still have two blank positions as of today.  This information will be published to the school website as soon as it is available.

The Human Resources Department of HWDSB has not yet confirmed whether we will be receiving a permanent Vice Principal for the next school year or whether this position will be covered by temporary Vice Principals.  There is a high likelihood that we will continue to be covered by retired Principals in the Vice Principal position.  I am hopeful that we will know by the end of this week.

Also, as you know there is always a little movement in schools each year.  Staff sometimes want to try new things and staff may be on leave for various reasons so there is one teaching position that is still “To Be Determined.”  We still have one vacancy for our Grade 7/8 Position.  It will be filled with someone who will complement and work well with our strong Intermediate teaching team.  This position will be filled in the next few weeks and I will communicate this information as soon as I have it.
